Harper and the One-Night Stand by R. Linda ~ Release & Review

Title: Harper and the One-Night Stand
Author: R. Linda
Genre: NA Romance
Release Date: April 10, 2018

A few too many cocktails in paradise, and I woke up in someone else’s bed. My ex-boyfriend’s cousin’s bed, to be exact.
Huge mistake.
Nate and I agreed it wouldn’t happen again. We didn’t want to hurt Brody. Only it did happen, repeatedly, until I finally found the courage to walk away.
But I couldn’t ignore the temptation, and I soon found myself back in his bed—or on his floor—stealing secret kisses and forbidden touches, sneaking around behind everyone’s backs.
I tried so hard to resist Nate’s charms, but my resolve crumbled. How could I not be swept off my feet by water towers in the rain and deep confessions on the beach?
The last thing we want is to hurt anyone, but it is out of our control. And there isn’t a thing I can do except give him my heart and hope he keeps it safe…regardless of the consequences.

So before I start this review, I would strongly encourage you to read the first two book in the series. I did not and there were some references from the other books that I knew nothing about. I will definitely be reading those before book #4 comes out. I'm excited for that one!
Onto to Harper and Nate.. I liked both characters. I liked how one night stand turned into 3 months before the freaking out happened but the break wasn't long enough. They needed each other as friends after an incident happened. Friends turned into something more and then it was "screw the consequences" with them. They didn't care who knew but still wanted to protect Brody. There's drama, oh so much drama, but thankfully the focus still stays on Harper and Nate. I was so thankful for that. Things don't turn out like they plan but at least they are together. This was a great book and you can tell they are a great supportive family despite what they have gone thru.
